One Year Ago

My little Becca turned 1 last Thursday. It is so hard to believe! For the past week or so, I have been finding myself reflecting on ‘where I was this time last year’.

This time last year, I was still cocooned in the hospital with my little swaddled cutie-pie. There was a tropical storm hitting the area and I remember the greyness of the world outside. Mr. O and I had spent the day staring at Becca and learning how to care for her. By this point, my milk had come in and I was still struggling with breast feeding. I was also slowly regaining strength from my c-section. By this point, I was able to walk to the nursery to get Becca and have a distinct memory of pushing her back to my room.
